Always experimenting, always exploring. Tooth brush, crappy paper, and Photoshop.=s=
I really should do better at logging how much time I put into these things. Sometimes they go pretty quick six hours or so from beginning to end. Though I could maybe see more like 10-12. When you're enjoying the work time flies.
So this is what was picked. I took to the rough stage and then printed it out and went for quill and brush on paper.

Sad to think that the only comic art I get to do these days from beginning to end is usually when a friend asks for it. Otherwise, I'm 22 pages away from finishing pencils on a 160 page epic before I can start the inking and coloring phase.
It's not like I have a horse in the race when it comes to the film version of Wonder Woman's costume but like anyone in the comic industry we all want what's best for the character to succeed outside their medium. That's why I took a crack at reworking this overly bright costume and perhaps dipped into it's history a little bit to see if there's a simple fix to "make it better".
Oddly enough I had a similar engagement with a larger version of the goddess that I felt strongly about...for different reasons of course.
I'll be at table D-20 where you can see a penciled preview of my robot book called, BRAUN. I'll have copies of THINGS UNDONE and THE OVERMAN as well. And I'll be doing sketches, as usual. Check out: ECCC for more information.
