What started out as a sketch got a bit more momentum than I would have anticipated. Who knew? So, apparently this will be the cover of Hack/Slash #20 from Devils Due Publishing. The crazy thing is somebody found this sketch by the great Alex Toth that was very similar...scarily so. Yet...he got just as much across with 1/10th of the effort.
So much to learn...so little mind.

I love this image. The line style here is perfect! The mood gives me almost of a Rockwell sense of hope all while know it's a freak with a giant knife! Great image!
