Well I've been in the lab up to my elbows in several different things. I should be coloring =O= but I'll be starting that full force tomorrow. You may recognize the above sketch from an earlier posting. I'm attempting to clean up my travel sketches without losing that lovely energy. It's very very hard, but I think in the end it'll be worth it. We'll see...
It got me to thinking more of traveling, and I came across these watercolors from a while back that I did. The one above was out off the coast of Belize, and the one below was in Antigua, Guatemala. I really enjoy watercolors when I have the right paper and all the stars are aligned. Mostly I get lucky as I've yet to really get exactly what I'm looking for. The most important thing I can do for myself is keep the colors clean so when I put them down they don't look muddy.
Well better hit it, as I'm yawning from a long day of snowshoeing over around Gold Creek just past Snoqualmie Ski Resort. Man am I beat.

Holy crap. You went to Belize too? We gotsta exchange stories/photos sometime. I was in Caye Caulker as well for the 1999-2000 turnover. Good times, that island. Miss the coconut rice and Belikin beer. Well, here's to more travels in '06!

hmmm...Caye Caulker for us in the off season...was very...shall we say offputting.
We talked to fish the whole time. And unfortunately...the food choices were meager. :|
