Since a lot of the work I've been doing in comics is either in limbo or not ever going to make it to the stores, I thought I'd try mightily to get my work out there by other means.
B.Clay Moore was gracious enough to let me do a rendition of his character Hawaiian Dick.
I may approach other creators to do the same in their books. Oddly enough, I don't care for pinups in comics. They don't add any value to me. So when the time comes, I doubt I'll have any interest in a pinup section. A development and sketch section quite possibly but nothing more if I can help it.

what, you no likey pinups? with the boobies and girlie bits and whatnot....sigh...nice work by the way...i'm in love with your work. Not as much as I love my wife, but, you understand. Keep on postin'...
You too gene. You're my kind of whacky!!! I didn't realize you had such drawing chawps!!! :)
A great piece, Shane. "in limbo or never..." What gives?!
Glad to see you've started a blog. I'm looking forward to seeing more of your work up here - and would love to see preliminaries, too!
Thanks Leif. Limbo, well that's because I was paid and they have no more money, or they can't get distribution from Diamond, so they're cautiously self-distributing through the convention circuit. Which in my estimation makes absolutely no sense. It costs too much to go to the shows let along paying a printing bill! Though I did here the Mr. Monster piece will be out soon! :)
Pimp as dick dude!!
